We went there after checking the reviews, but I learnt my lesson. We were literally dragged inside the restaurant by the owner with big promises. Our experience was further marred by the food we ordered. We tried their Indian thali, which was a letdown in both quality and quantity. The keema was poorly marinated, lacking in flavor and tenderness. The daal was barely edible, missing the rich and comforting taste one expects from this staple. The butter chicken was just passable, but nothing to write home about. Accompaniments like plain rice and naan were disappointingly scant – the naan was so small, it seemed more suited for a child’s meal. Shockingly, the owner insisted this thali was sufficient for two people, which was far from the truth.
We also ordered roghan josh, only to find that its portion was meager and unsatisfying for even one person. Considering the inadequate servings, the prices were exorbitant and unjustifiable. The ambiance did little to uplift our spirits. But what truly set a negative tone for our entire visit was the deceitful and intrusive behavior of the owner, making us feel uncomfortable rather than welcomed. The combination of poor service, unimpressive food, and misleading business practices makes it impossible for me to recommend this establishment to anyone seeking an enjoyable...
Read moreWe went to this place with high expectations but left extremely disappointed. We ordered spinach lamb and madras lamb. The food came in very small portions and the taste was mediocre. We were still hungry when we finished. The lamb was hard to find in the dishes and the sauce was very watered down. They advertise the restaurant as Indian but it is actually Bangladeshi food. The food doesn’t justify the price they charge even a simple coke zero is priced at 4.95 euros. This is obviously targeted for innocent French demographic who doesn’t know the food from India. We did explain our experience to the person attending (perhaps the owner) but he was extremely defensive and did not offer any consolations. My advice is to avoid this place or be ready to be disappointed.
As you can see in the reply from the owner, he continues to lie and incorrectly mentioned we were 4 people when instead it was just me and my wife ordered two dishes, one naan, an order of rice and two coke zeros. If the owner continues to defend his lies I will post the receipt as well...

• came here because they were open on christmas day. • very authentic indian food! • great synchronicity for me because christmas 2023 i visited the taj mahal, and here in this restaurant, a huge and gorgeous photo of the taj mahal. it feels more like this place chose me. • the staff is so kind, so friendly, and very attentive • my food took a little while to come out even though there were not a lot of people there, but once my food arrived it was HOT and it was FRESH! • i ordered the vegetarian thali, mango massi, and my thali came with a chai tea • the mixed pickle here is so nice and spicy which is great for a spicy food lover like me. and the waiter told me it was house made! • GREAT vegetable samosas with a thin and crispy outside and perfectly seasoned peas and potatoes inside • the tamarind chutney also looks and tastes house made because it was very very good
⭐️ overall i think all of the ingredients here are very fresh. and the food is made well + the service is speedy, accurate,...
