I visited Qasti on rue Oberkampf on a Sunday for their brunch option, a couple of weeks ago with a group of 10 friends. Expecting a great brunch experience based on recommendations from Lebanese friends and my previous visits to other Qasti restaurants, unfortunately, this turned out to be a real "No go!"—quite disappointing.
For a brunch that costs around 40 euros per person, I expected a much better sense of lebanese quality andd hospitality. Instead, we were badly seated at the back of the room, against the wall, which meant that half of our group had difficulty accessing the buffet. On top of that, even as a group of 10, we were charged extra for an additional coffee!?! —something that felt quite petty for a lebanese restaurant which has the opportunity to embrace the great lebanese service and hospitality.
What made the experience even more frustrating was being asked to leave not once, but two or three times because they had a second service. While I completely understand that restaurants need to turn tables, the way it was handled made us feel rushed and unwelcome.
I have to say that the staff was friendly and smiling, and the food was just "okay", but overall, the experience was disappointing. Will I come back or recommend it to friends and family? I am afraid...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at QASTI restaurant in Paris with my son, and I can confidently say it is, without a doubt, the best Lebanese restaurant in the city. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding.
The food is exceptional—flavorful, beautifully presented, and made with the freshest ingredients. Portions are generous without compromising on quality, and each dish reflects a true mastery of Lebanese cuisine. The restaurant itself is spotless, and the atmosphere is both welcoming and refined.
Service was another highlight. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which added to the overall enjoyment of our evening.
In my opinion, QASTI earns a perfect 10 out of 10 in every category: food quality, presentation, freshness, cleanliness, portion size, and service. It’s a must-visit for food lovers and especially for those who appreciate Middle Eastern and Lebanese flavors.
If you’re looking for authenticity, freshness, and a beautifully crafted dining experience, QASTI is the place to be. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it awarded a Michelin star in the near future. Wishing continued success to the owners and the entire team—you...
Read moreI was very disappointed with the restaurant. The fattouche was okay, nice presentation inside the bread. I asked if there is an option of fine chopping but the waitress didn’t understand my request (although this is a typical question at a lebanese restaurant) and she told me that the salad is already chopped in one size. For the caviar d’aubergine (moutabbal), it was okay but a lot of tahina, could be better Unfortunately the main plate was very disappointing. We ordered the frike, it was mainly a lamp plate, although i accepted the sweet twist of dried fruits, but there was barely any frikeh in it and we can mainly taste the lamb taste and a lot of lamb fat. I used the picture from their video but our plate barely had any nuts on it. On another side, The service was unprofessional (we had to serve ourselves from other tables as the table was missing cutleries, we had to “beg” for a plate to share the main plate).
I prefer the qasti snack on Chatelet over...
