RESTAURANT LE P'TIT MUSSET — Restaurant in Paris

I am a regular visitor to this restaurant, which usually has very good food and service. This evening the young waiter took my order of wine, water, an entrée and plat. After 10 minutes of serving other people drinks he brought the entree. No cutlery, no drinks, nothing. When I said I ordered a wine, he said, yes he’s bringing it. No apology. Some minutes later the wine came. Then the cutlery. After asking again I got the water, no glass. I had to ask for a glass with which to drink the water. Not sure what his problem was. Me and my mom went to this lovely restaurant during our vacation. We choose this rest because there was a sign with the legend: Traditional cuisine. It wasn’t a lie. Everything was lovely, the decor, the beer, the dishes, the waiter and waitress. Service was really quick even though the place was packed. Risotto with fruit de mer was incredible and the entrecôte was superb. The waitress and waiter were excellent even though they didn’t speak any Spanish and only a little bit of English. Great bistrot. Full on a Tuesday night. Food was nice and affordable. The gambas were lovely. The foie gras was a bit salty but that's the way it is sometimes. Nerves were not removed in the foie. Mains had fish and meat. All good. The lamb was out so was replaced with veal with cumin sauce. Interesting. The wine selection was quite wide. We had kir and château Carignan, both great.
