Ty Louis is a charming hidden gem that immediately feels like home the moment you step through its doors. With its intimate and unpretentious setting, the atmosphere invites comfort, conversation, and good company. The perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience.
The food at Ty Louis is nothing short of soul-warming. Each dish is prepared with care, authenticity, and a true passion for flavor. This isn’t just French comfort food, it’s a culinary hug. The standout of the afternoon was the carpaccio, a dish so delicately prepared and beautifully plated, it brought new life to an old favorite. Surprisingly, it was paired with a Rosé wine that truly opened my palate. As someone who typically steers away from Rosé, I was stunned by how well it complemented the dish. Crisp, light, and nuanced. This pairing alone may have converted me into a Rosé believer. Merci beaucoup!🥂
The service was top-tier. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, the team at Ty Louis made me feel like a regular on my first visit. From guiding me through the wine selections to ensuring every plate arrived in perfect order, they struck the rare balance between professionalism and down-to-earth hospitality.
Whether you’re seeking a cozy date afternon spot, a quiet moment of indulgence, or simply excellent food that comforts the soul, Ty Louis delivers. It’s the kind of place you want to keep to yourself but can’t help recommending to everyone you know. I left with full stomach, happy heart, and already...

This cozy Breton restaurant in the 12th arrondissement of Paris offers a modern and inventive cuisine inspired by the region of Brittany (Bretagne), a large peninsula in the northwest of France.
Le Ty Louis focuses on high-quality, local, and often organic ingredients sourced directly from Breton producers. Instead of classic crêpes and galettes, the menu features revisited regional dishes. Highlights of the creative menu include the Tatin of Foie Gras with strawberry and Timut pepper compote ( our favourite), a savory Beef Tartare with Guéméné sausage, and an inventive Organic Breton Turnip confit with miso and radish pickles.
Vegetarian options like the Organic Butternut Squash with a vegetable stuffing and buckwheat and the Paimpol White Bean Hummus show the kitchen's range. For dessert, they offer classic Breton sweets like Kouign-Amann with Jampi ice cream (must order)and Homemade Far Breton with prunes.
The neighbourhood restaurant is cozy with intimate atmosphere and authentic, yet original, take on Breton flavors. We truely enjoyed our experience and...
Read moreThis restaurant was a bit of surprise and a great find - we were staying in Le Patio Bastille, which is virtually opposite - and just went in because the reviews were good. We ended up going three times on successive nights. There are three main servers - each were very friendly and very helpful. When we went in for the first time, the menu was explained in detail, but we went for relatively simple dishes - in my case a hamburger on two of the nights. This was truly special, partly because of the brioche bun, partly because of the well cooked meat, and partly because of the accompanying salad and chips. I knocked this bag with a glass of cider, but on the final nights I had beef tartare and a lovely glass of syrah. On Friday they were very busy but they made a space for us and by Saturday, we were welcomed back as family. We'll be back on return...
