We came in when no one was waiting. We were told maybe 10 to 15 mins because a table was about to leave, Also, they only take cash .Then my party of 3 could be seated. There were 2 tables for 2 open. Then a party of 4 came in and was told the wait time . Then, 3 mins later, a party of 2 came in and was seated immediately. Then another party of 2 came in. Then the table of 3 got up and the table was cleaned . And my party was seated. Then, the other party of 2 was seated beside my table. So the waitress came over and took the table of 2 that sat after us order before us even though we were seated before them. so out of those 3 tables my party which was here 1st but seated second order was taken last. Our order 3 mama Jackson plates 2 tenders and one 2pc legs . (They only have dark meat, )so we got tenders, red beans, and rice coleslaw and fried sweet potatoes. And the starter of the mac cheese. 30 mins later, both parties of 2 tables got their food (chicken and waffles), and my party is still waiting . After another 10 mins, a gentleman comes over and says a few more minutes. Then another 7 minutes pass, so I ask can we get our starter of the mac and cheese since we are starving . Then he goes to the cooks( this is an open concept so you can see them making your food) he asks for the starter, and the cook looks confused. They didn't have a starter ready. Then the gentleman comes over with some fries on the house, he says, since our starter or food wasn't ready . We have reached the 1 hour mark of sitting at the table. With only drinks and the 2 tables beside use are almost finished eating their meals.. The tenders were hot, and the batter fell off the tenders . The red beans were spicy, but Luke warm, same as the potatoes. The mac and cheese reminded me of blue box mac and cheese with cheese sauce . Pictures added. One of the Worst Dining Experiences I’ve Ever Had

We were seated at 10:10 PM, and it took 30 minutes just to place our order. When we finally ordered, we were told they were out of several key items — no chicken wings, no mac and cheese, and, incredibly, no rice, which is one of the main components of most meals. We had to completely change our orders.

After that, we waited two hours for food. When it finally arrived, every single order was wrong except one. We then had to wait another 30 minutes for the missing items — and even then, they brought out random dishes no one asked for while still forgetting someone’s meal entirely. This seemed to happen to other people.

The owner spent more time outside the restaurant than inside, chatting to people in cars and running in and out of nearby houses — felt like he was running another suspicious business. Meanwhile, the service inside was chaotic, slow, and disrespectful.

When we asked for the bill, one of the staff casually sat down with a cocktail instead of assisting us. Then they tried to charge us €150 when our total was €93. Only when we demanded a receipt did we see the owner manually quickly removing items — clearly trying to overcharge us. After 15 minutes of back and forth, they reduced the bill by just two soft drinks. No apology, no real gesture of accountability.

We didn’t leave until 12:30 AM. Staff laughed and joked at our expense, and they almost refused to return a phone they had charged for us — and even attempted to charge us for using their charger.

A disgrace to the black community- The entire experience was disrespectful and deeply disappointing. All staff — should’ve represented the place better — yet behaved in a way that was not only rude, but embarrassing.

Absolutely unacceptable. I would never return, and I strongly advise others to avoid this...

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE A TOURIST WHO DOESN’T SPEAK THE LANGUAGE! It was around 9:15 when we arrived and they were booked but offered take away as an option. The sign out front even says take out so we thought we would give it try. We were told it would be 20 minutes for our food to be ready. Waiting patiently outside and twenty minutes went past. Then 35 and I went to check. We had been forgotten about. They lost the ticket. So we waited again after being told they would throw in extras. We were handed our takeout bag and started walking away when something told me to check the bag. We only had half of our original order and no extras. So I went back in for a second time only to get an “I’m sorry” finally third times a charm and we get all of our food. By that time we are so hungry we sit down to eat at a bench nearby. This is when I realize we got mac and cheese and fried chicken with no takeaway napkins or silverware! So in I go for a forth time only to have the women behind the counter look for 1 min for silverware and then tell me “they don’t have takeaway silverware”. At this point I asked for a refund. Which I did not receive. So 20 minutes later we end up back our room with cold food that we finally got to eat after finding silverware from the hotel staff. Worst dining experience of my life. Also the fries were very soggy from the get go. We threw more than half of the meal away and I usually love soul food. I’d give it a zero if I could.
