Zagros — Restaurant in Paris

Rude service, uninteresting food. We felt very unwelcomed by the Karl Lagerfeld-styled proprietor. Initially we were asked to move table, our orders were then taken (we ordered in French) in a patronising manner. Whilst waiting for our main course in the windowed smoking area, a man came and stood directly opposite us for five minutes and stared intensely at my girlfriend and her food in an intimidating way. He was at most 50cm from us. Upon asking the staff for help so as not to create a confrontation with the man, they made an ineffective 'go away gesture' to the man, who then proceeded to stare for longer. The staff then barely made eye contact with us for the rest of the evening and were very very slow to take our plates or provide the (not cheap) bill. A thoroughly horrible experience all round. Please don't give this restaurant...

My wife and I stumbled across this place while in Paris and we fell in love with it. It has great outdoor seating in a bustling and diverse ARR. the staff was beyond friendly and patient with us. ( my French ....not so good) I didn’t give it 5 stars because I didn’t really try their food. Mostly drinks and desert. but they had amazing cappuccinos, delicious cheese cake, and had a good beer selection. Most importantly, we felt so welcomed here that we came back to this place 3 days in a row. The staff remembered us and our order! Great...

Nous sommes allés ce soir chez Zagros avec des amis. Situé dans un quartier bobo, gauche et intello, ce petit restaurant est très intéressant. Cuisine grecque-kurde, musique grecque en live (guitare - bouzouki) et une ambiance décontracté. On a l'impression que tous les gens se connaissent car ils se parlent entre eux, mais je pense c'est simplement culturel... Il s'agit d'un public très ouvert, âgé entre 25 et 35 ans, pas tous français (beaucoup de grecs je pense), qui se retrouvent pour écouter la musique de chez eux passer un moment convivial. Nous avons également goûter la cuisine qui est de très bonne qualité. Je mets 4 étoile parce que je trouve que la quantité offerte n'est pas suffisante pour le prix (3 personnes on a payé 60€, entre 14-16€ pour les plats que vous voyez + 20€ pour une bouteille de vin de Crète)...Un peu cher pour cette quantité quand même. En tous cas, on est parti et pour couper sa faim on a mangé un kebab un peu plus loin. Chose qui arrive très souvent quand on fait des restau à Paris d'ailleurs... Mais à part ça, c'est un endroit 100% recommandé...
