I can't begin to even describe how much I love this place. The staff was the sweetest people ever. The food was absolutely lovely. Makes me want to take the trip all over again just to eat here again. Highly recommend for those who's seeking a comforting and tasty meal. The burgers are great and the steak is tender. I would've loved to try more dishes too but the day we came they were previously busy with lunch rush so there wasn't any lunch menu...

Au Goustous – Como en casa, pero con más encanto y sin tener que fregar los platos

Si paseas por las callejuelas con alma de Perpiñán y el aroma a cocina casera te atrapa como un abrazo de abuela con delantal, lo más probable es que estés cerca de Au Goustous. Este rinconcito con sabor y carácter te da la bienvenida como si fueras parte de la familia (pero de esa familia que cocina de maravilla y te pone el vino sin escatimar).

La decoración es un suspiro de buen gusto: detalles rústicos, flores secas, cintas blancas que bailan al viento y una entrada que invita a detenerse. Todo en este lugar grita (con acento francés, claro): “¡Relájate y disfruta!”

La carta no es extensa, pero lo justo y necesario para saber que lo que hay, se hace bien. Aquí no hay postureo, hay sabor. Cocina de verdad, sin trampantojos, y con guiños a la tradición. Mención especial a su formule de mediodía, que por menos de lo que cuesta una crema antiarrugas en París, te llena el alma y el estómago.

¿Postres? Oh là là… Si el infierno es real, espero que tenga el brownie de aquí.

Y como broche de oro: servicio amable, cercano y sin prisas. Vamos, que si no te enamoras del lugar, es porque ya venías con el corazón ocupado.
