Martine fait sa Cuisine — Restaurant in Perpignan

Unfortunately the lunch reservation we had at the local Michelin starred restaurant was canceled without warning by the restaurant. We tried unsuccessfully to make a reservation at another recommended restaurant. As we walked around the same area of Perpignan we saw this charming little restaurant and decided to give it a try. The terrine was a perfect start to the meal. The main course of a beef in a brown sauce with pasta was delicious an extremely satisfying. The pana cota was a nice light end to a delicious lunch. The service was warm and friendly and the food was phenomenal. We were so happy to find this new gem and look forward to visiting again...

Another memorable " formule" dejeuner, freshly prepared for service in the dining room, reminiscent of your "favourite Sunday lunch at Grandma's" atmosphere, by Martine. We suspect little has changed in the ambiance for decades. Outside tables are available. Our tip - reserve a table for 30 or 40 minutes after midday, that way you get to see what today's dishes are. We visited Martine today, a group of 8 people, and we all absolutely loved the place. The decor is spot on, it’s really just. like your grandma’s dining room! The welcome was perfect too, so nice to see Martine cooking behind the counter. It’s a short menu which is perfect, all options looked great and my porcelet au sauce Byrrh was delicious.
