As English is not widely spoken in Guadeloupe, I was pleasantly surprised that some of the staff at this restaurant spoke fluent English. The second we stepped into the cozy restaurant, the staff made us feel very welcomed with their big smiles. The manager was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with some great recommendations. Oh dear what a disappointment. Accra is good. Cocktails were good. entrecôte on the menu was substituted with bavette., they did say. It’s lucky that the serving was much less than the 300g advertised as this was the toughest chewiest meat ever. Our feedback was met with the response that we should have ordered it to be cooked differently. Why cook it to be tough??
