L' Alegrìa — Restaurant in Prades

Booked a table for 7. Had to wait half an hour and actually go and find someone to order drinks. When we ordered, for 5 out of 7 of us the dish wasn't available, so we had to reorder. Half an hour later we were told there were only burgers and pizza left. But we saw other customers being served the dishes we'd been told were unavailable. Finally got our food 1h45 after arriving. One of our dishes, the meat was cold in the middle virtually no sauce and no végétables (none left). When we got our bill we were told they hadn't included the salad (which was offered in compensation for the vegetables) or some extra chips. We didn't agree. We come here every year for the the most beautiful lunch and a bottle of Coillure Rose . The food is amazing and the service . All French food is perfect and we eat out a lot all around the world. This is our favourite restaurant and the owner is very friendly with customers and the service is perfect. I’ve just edited this post as we are back again 🤣, it is the highlight of our holiday.

The sad thing is in France that the toilets let all restaurants and cafes down. This restaurant doesn’t even have a toilet seat and is unisex plus you can see the men’s urinal. Toilets...

I hate to be critical but I was astonished to be told that the restaurant had no pastries to provide a Petit dejeuner for customers on the morning of the regular Tuesday Market. It was surely not beyond the capability of Management to send staff out to buy comestibles in a Market that is literally brimming with food stalls.

Suffering a serious sugar drop I had to go and source some food from a Market vendor. Being offered a tiny packet of potato crisps didn't really fill my needs. Very...
