Le Sistrot — Restaurant in Quimper

A restaurant with solid commitment to local products and vegetarian options that sadly doesn't follow through. The food wasn't that flavorful and the bread was kinda hard. We get that it's fresh, but the fact that it "comes from a friend" doesn't make it great. The chef proudly told us that he planned for a set amount of dishes per day but didn't seem to adjust his appraisal on the past orders, which seemed odd. We did get a delightful service from the waitress, so A+ there. We just wished they'd commit more to their core values. Yes the cola was great, but don't say you're local if it comes...

Very disappointing! The entree (assiette libonaise) tasted okay, but overpriced. The plat (Pulled Pork Burger), however, was inedible - the meat was dry, the burger was really basic (just ketchup & cheese) and the fries were quite soggy. They said it was new to their menu, but it honestly tasted like they had made it for the first time that night without tasting it themselves. It was a delight to eat there for lunch! We arrived at a busy time and were warned that it might take some time to get us our order but we only waited for 10-15min, and it was absolutely delicious!! We wished we were not so full after our meal to have a dessert as well but maybe we will make it another time to this lovely restaurant!
