You must try La Brigade in Reims! It's not a long multi-course meal, just good food. We had hanger steak and veal, and we each had fries and salad with our protein. Taste was outstanding. The service was even better! Very attentive and fast.

Fries were very good. The Dijon vinaigrette on the small side salad was well-made with just enough flavor (not overpowering), and the greens were very fresh.

You will order a sauce with your meal. If I recall correctly, there were 5 options. Both of the ones we ordered were very tasty. In addition, on the table, you will find a big bottle of Heinz barbecue sauce. If you are American, it tastes exactly like basic Lays Barbecue chips, and morning like what anyone in the South would call barbecue ...nothing special. Stick to the ordered sauce, which comes on the side.

We made a 7pm (19h00) reservation, and I am glad we did. The place was packed by 7:30. To can use The Fork app to do that.

Been wanting to try this restaurant since every time I pass by it's always full of customers. I'm happy we came around lunch time and got their formule which was a complete meal + a choice of drink or dessert for €17.

I'm usually fond of restaurants that specialize only on one thing and La Brigade is one of those. It's a pretty straightforward concept, no frills, fast and an enjoyable dining experience. I got an onglet de bœuf and my husband had a poulet pané. The beef was a bit overcooked than what i ordered but I still enjoyed my experience in the restaurant anyway. The fries were perfectly cooked, they feel like fait maison and not industriL 💖 the roquefort miel and chimi-pesto sauces were delightful and I'm excited to try the other sauces 😊 the framboise pastèque tea and citronnade maison were super good, I highly recommend it! 💖

Our server was very nice and courteous despite a busy lunch service. People were starting to pile up at the cashier and he took the initiative to give us the bill and process our payment at the table.

I'm definitely coming back to try their other...

Very friendly staff but I suspect overworked as the service was really poor, both slow and with several mistakes. Drinks we ordered never arrived (but had been included on the bill), table water didn’t materialise despite us asking three times and we ended up having to go inside to pay as there was no sign of the bill despite requesting it twice over a period of about 15 minutes.

There was also a misunderstanding over how we’d each like our steak cooked, but that was down to the language barrier (which is our problem, not theirs!!) and this was rectified when we pointed it out.

The food itself was fine. Steak was nothing special and came unseasoned, and tracking down salt and pepper was another challenge! The fries were soggy and pretty cold when...
