Big Fernand — Restaurant in Rennes

The service was friendly and fast, i like the casual ambiance in the restaurant.

There's unfortunately nothing special about the burger here, especially if you are used to eating burgers from English-speaking countries 😰..

Normally burger with bacon can't go wrong, and this would be my order all the time, but the bartholome burger proved me wrong!

I never knew a burger could be so sweet! I couldn't even eat half of it...I'm not sure if it's because the bacon was super tiny or they put too much onion confit (their onion confit was super sweet). It was like eating desserts.

Luckily the Big Fernand was not sweet but still nothing to rave about...

If you are a burger lover and been eating only McDonald's and don't have much expectations, you'd be pleased.

But if you are familiar with burgers from Asia, Australia and the likes, this wouldn't soothe your craving for a good ol juicy burger.

As others have said, the patty size is so small, it's doesn't live up to the premium price...

C'est simple : c'est un fast food au prix d'un restaurant. On vous sert la nourriture sur un plateau comme au fast food, vous débarrassez la table comme au fast food, vous mangez avec les doigts comme au fast food. Par contre un repas tout juste correct vous coûtera 30€ par personne, plus cher que dans un restaurant en somme.

La qualité des produits, correcte tout au plus, n'est pas suffisante pour justifier des prix aussi élevés. La garniture est inexistante, la viande quasiment absente au milieu de deux énormes morceaux de pain.

Le menu a 12€ est une mauvaise blague (steak aussi épais qu'un cheese McDo, pas une feuille de salade, pas une rondelle de tomate, pas un cornichon.. juste du pain, un petit morceau de fromage et un minuscule steak). Vous n'aurez pas le choix de la boisson, ça sera eau ou coca. Vous n'aimez pas le coca ? Tant pis pour vous je suppose. Les gourmands de sauce seront déçus : un pauvre sachet de mayo et de ketchup industriels et c'est tout .. comme au fast food.

9€ pour un hot-dog, sans frites, sans boisson, c'est purement et simplement du vol.

Les boissons sont chères, les desserts sont chers et pourtant pas faits maison ...

Ce fast food ne vaut pas le coup, ni le coût. C'est avant tout un produit marketing et sûrement pas un restaurant.

Si vous aimez les burgers, allez manger ailleurs.

I got the veggie burger, the Lucien, and when I tell you the mushroom was the size of an anchovy, I'm not kidding.
