Hôtel Kyriad Rennes Centre Gare — Hotel in Rennes

We had a five night stay at the hotel. Our room was nice with high ceiling. The bed was comfortable with good quality bedding. The bathroom looked modern with rain shower head, but weak water pressure. Desk was very tiny. The room had very limited useable surfaces to put our personal items on. Breakfast was very poor. No hot food, no vegetables, very limited options of low quality sweets and cold cuts, plus half frozen hard boiled eggs. Breakfast on Sunday and Monday (there were fewer guests in these 2 days) were even worse, only served day old bread and croissants and whatever leftover from previous day. Food items were dry and stale. Apples and bananas were near rotten. ||One more thing, house-keeping needed a lot of improvement. Every day the house keeping staff either forgot to replenish tea and coffee, or didn’t supply clean bath towels after taking away used ones. For 4 out of the 5 days we stayed there, the staff just emptied used cups and put them back on the cup tray without cleaning. Many lip stains were clearly visible on the top of cups. ...

Modern hotel, nice service, comfortable rooms, good hairdryer, water kettle in the room and as welcome you receive paper cups, tea and coffee bags and cookies. Breakfast on the ground floor available. Good mattress, nice towels and bed linen. Elevator.

At the moment the site in front of the hotel is under construction and hardly to walk. You must carry your trolley can't roll and absolutely no whealchair. Ask if the Place is finished before choosing if you are handicapped. Two public garages nearby and also bus stop to get into the city. On restaurants the area is very poor. I choosed parking Charles de Gaulle and was surprised about the low rate. Night is cheaper than day. In the bus you can buy the ticket but first a card for 0,10€ to upload your fare. This card you can upload each time or you buy several trips as you validate your trip on a separate reader. Valid in Metro as well...
