Crêperie des Promenades — Restaurant in Saint-Brieuc

Three of us met for lunch here on October 6 2016. The staff are always very welcoming and we got our usual table. We ordered 3 fromagere crepes as the main course and 3 flambees as dessert and as usual the crepes were all delicious. The creperie was quite packed at 1 p.m. and the atmosphere was very nice. The bottle of cider that we ordered was Cidre Ville Loyo and was perfect with the crepes. We finished off with 3 coffees, a cafe, a decaffeinee and a cafe creme. The manageress chatted iwth us over coffee and we felt very welcome.The bill came to 63.30 which was very reasonable for the great meal that we all enjoyed. Vegan and gluten-free options! A rare occurrence in Britanny. The galette is vegan and gluten-free, and for savory toppings, the "Terre et Mer" and "Au tout du monde" are both vegan and gluten-free. For sweet toppings, you will need to take galette as the base instead of crêpe, and the sugar, fruit, nuts and maple surup are all good. The chocolate and caramel have dairy in them so it's a no go. Nice crêperie in St Brieuc, they have some very creative flavor galettes, all made with fresh local products. I ordered the galette with seaweed, leeks in cream sauce and Scallops, it was very tasty and I enjoyed it a lot. The restaurant is very well decorated and I really like the design. The service was good and fast. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because my friend thinks her galette was too dry, she ordered a galette with sausage and potatoes.
