ibis Styles Saint-Brieuc Gare Centre — Hotel in Saint-Brieuc

This Ibis Style hotel is a rarity in today's world, an owner run hotel in a town. It is a smallish hotel a few minutes walk from the railway station and about 10 minutes walk into the centre of the historic town.||Our room 502 was spacious and cute, it was in the roof with dormer windows on two side. Great views, it was possible to just see the sea from one window..||There was adequate hanging space and a singe large shelf for clothes. Surplus clothing could be put on the enormous work space, at least 6x3 foot. This also meant that suitcases could be stored easily out of the way underneath.||The bathroom was large but the shower has to be hand-held over the bath. A bracket is sorely needed.||There is no safe, mini-bar or tea and coffee facilities in the room but are available in the reception area, together with a computer and printer.||Only breakfast is available, it is a standard continental breakfast, with one exception, there is a basket of oranges and a juicer for those who like real fresh orange juice.||There are numerous restaurants with easy walking distance for...

Have now stayed at this hotel three times and would happily do so again. The rooms are clean, bright and airy and some are large with a big, comfy sofa. The beds and pillows are good and the black-out blinds are a nice touch. Breakfast was a Continental style buffet but offered a decent choice of fresh produce and a busy coffee machine. Staff were always welcoming, sincere and helpful. If you get there at the right time, then there's some tight parking available in the hotel courtyard, otherwise you can cruise around until a space becomes available on the road in front of the hotel. ...

The hotel is well located - next to the train station and close to the city center. The maintenance works on the roads surrounding it may make your access difficil but our gps manged to get us there. The service is friendly and helpfull. The rooms are rather small but slightly better than the regular Ibis hotels. The arrangement is innovative and colorfull (hence the style in the name).
