Stumbled upon this restaurant as we were searching for food around the vicinity to not much avail. Even though we didn't speak French, we simply told the owner to whip us up something nice. He made us a simple steak dish but the sauce was just out of this world with a side of french beans that made the meal exceptional! Even though we did not understand much of what the owner was saying and using google translate most of the time, his hospitality was impeccable. He offered to pour us a pint but we were just too tired to take him up on the offer after a long flight.

I was staying in a hotel nearby on my own, wanted to get out for a drink. This place is awesome. Made me feel so welcome, food was great, chatted music with the locals and had some great cheap drinks! Thanks ❤️

Urige französische Vorstadtkneipe. Nachdem wir gestern hier gut Couscous gegessen haben, ist heute die ganze Reisegruppe aufgeschlagen. Alle Verständigungsschwierigkeiten wurden mit Händen und Füßen ausgeräumt. Aber der Koch/Chef spricht gut englisch, der Barmann nicht. Die Vorräte von Calvados wurden ausgelöscht. Eine super Atmosphäre und reichlich Spaß. Ich glaube, Freitag ist Ruhetag.
