Brasserie du Théâtre — Restaurant in Saint-Germain-en-Laye

Had the pleasure to visit this place twice this week and both experiences were rated with A higher mark. Restaurant ambiance cozy with a view on the St Germain en Laye Henri IV cattle. Seatings comfortable. Tables little closed to each other. Waitress direct , efficient, knowledgeable and discreet. The food was superb. Great presentation, flavorful, good portions, simple presentation but clean and pretty. If I may make a simple remark. I will ask to work on the desserts Selection. Nice view of the château and great ambience. The food was great with big portion sizes (we were absolutely full!), we especially liked the duck confit and the raviole de royan. We took the molleux au chocolat that was included in the menu. It was good and came with a small scoop of ice cream, a little raspberry coulis and some whipped cream. I'm not so sure that I would've paid what they charge for it separately though (around 11 or 12 euros I think?). Extremely rude service ! Yesterday my guests decided to have a glass of wine mid/late afternoon at this place . They clearly said they would like just a drink ( in English as they don’t speak French ) and the waiter brought the wine but once he realized they don’t want food but a drink, he treated them terribly , shouted at them so my guests had to gulp down their drink in a few minutes and leave the place .
