La Mamma Mia — Restaurant in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois

I would appreciate the Truffle pasta i had in this place which was probably one of the best i ever had, but on the other hand the shrimp linguine was a complete off for me, probably didn’t take even a bite as i was overwhelmed with strong fishy smell, had shrimp linguine from many places but never came across something like this. The manager said people like it this way here, and asked me if i wanna change the dish so i ordered lasagna instead. Would had been five star review if it was a change of dish but i was charged for the shrimp linguine as-well that wasn’t even edible for me. a hospitality business that thinks it understands the business, but...

This place is like no other. The people here are amazing. They know exactly how restaurants should be ran and they have perfected it. The service was incredible and the food was DIVINE.

Somehow this was my first time in any Italian restaurant but I promise that it won't be the last time I step foot into this place.

My advice to you, is forget Geneva, forget Paris, forget Michelin starred restaurants, go to this place. The man promised me my money back if I didn't like it, I would make the same promise to you too. The food is exquisite.

I was there with a group of 8 on the 9th July 2023. If I could star 10 for the service, I would. They kept a table for us, even if we called late, kept the resto open so we can finish. The gentleman that served us was so kind, attentive and discreet. Food was both yummy and beautifuly presented and the portions quite large.
