Well well well, what can I say. This Boulangerie isn’t a normal Boulangerie. I think they are just blessed by god. Like god gave them talent and they transformed it in magic. Everything, and I weight my words, everything is awesome. Good is not a stronger word to say my thoughts its just marvelous. First of all the place. The furniture are so Cosy and so well chosen that you have to spend at least one breakfast there. Reminding me the Scandinavian style with a touch of Montessori kiddergarden, the place feel like home. But ok let’s pass the place and concentrate in the food. Bakery, all type of awesome bread, croissant and pain aux chocolate and of course a lot of revisited traditional danish. Guys its like being transported at each bit. Oh god, it’s so good. Pastry then, well, again, it’s simple and tasty it’s Exotic, it’s all here. From a traditional lemon tart to a Paris Brest revisited with pistachio and raspberry… I’m in love. Finally the lunch/ salad take away…. Even that is revolting. A mix of flavor and taste, consistency and originality. 3 days in a row and I know that I won’t have time to try everything. Life is just simpler when you have a shop like that near you. Using the best product and doing what we love with care can only result with perfection. Thank you for it...

So glad we came across Madison Malècot during our visit to St Malo! The displays of breads, pastries, desserts are mouthwatering. Clearly a go-to spot for the locals/French holiday-goers too - the line went out the door by around 10 AM on a Saturday morning. The staff/service were very kind. Recommend asking for the “formule” which was, for €15 per person, a hot drink, a glass of delicious fresh pressed local apple juice, 2 large slices of fresh bread with jam and butter, and your choice from among several incredible pastries (Kouign Amman (sp?), brioche a la canelle, etc). Going back...

So if you only care about the taste of the pastries and the bread (only sourdough type), you can go there. We've been coming to St-Malo for almost two years now and until recently, we enjoyed all what we've got from that maison. Nevertheless, at some point, customer service needs to be levelled up. We enjoyed going there but customers are not simple wallets on legs. Also, we don't understand why not making baguettes should be a...
