Plage de la Hoguette — Attraction in Saint-Malo

Really clean, not too crowded because the beach is large when the sea is low tide.

Thus you have plenty of space to play rackets, walke your dog, take a bath of sun, swim, picnic or play Molki (kind of bowling but it can be played almost everywhere though).

Nb. According to the tourism office website (03/2019), dogs are not allowed from 1st of April 30th of September on the beach.

What an amazing beach, we walked from St Malo along the promenade with the intention of visiting the sculptured rocks at the other end but this place is vast. Un havre de paix dans un écrin de nature sauvage... sur une des plus belles plages d Europe. On trouve un marchand de glaces à la belle saison et des commerces et restos aux alentours. Pour passer un bon moment de détente. J oubliai l essentiel car c est une plage surveillée pendant la saison - poste de secours. École de voile : catamaran optimist char à voile surf planche à voile... etc. Le +++ : situé entre l intra muros - ville historique et la plage de Rochebonne.. de cet endroit on aperçoit les falaises de la Varde... et on se plaît à imaginer bien plus au loin sur son île Léo Ferré et Cancale...
