The place is absolutely incredible. It’s a floating bar/cafe close to the Grande Case beach with a great selection of food and drinks! The concept is genius! You park your car at a parking lot near Quai 58, proceed to the dock and you get picked up by the owner on a small motor boat in which you proceed to the floating restaurant itself - Balaou! There you get to sit on one of the floating sofas with a floating table in the middle for your drinks and food. We ate the bokits to get the local food flavor and they were delicious. Service was prompt, polite and efficient all the way. The hosts were great at communicating with us beginning with the reservation I had made a few days before up to the very moment of our coming to the dock to get picked up. Every question I asked received a precise and competent answer. Bravo! Keep it up, guys! Highly...
Read moreWe come to SXM every few months because we own a place here and this popped up in between our last trip and this one! Couldn’t wait to try it! And we were definitely not disappointed. We will be coming back here every trip!!!!!!!!!!!! I called the number and they came to pick us up immediately, we did not need a reservation in low season, but great that you can book reservations! The four cheese pizza was insane, never had such incredible cheese on a pizza, especially cooked in the middle of the ocean! A floating bar atmosphere is insanely unique, and just so fun!!!!! We will be back as many times as we can! Food And drinks and staff were all on point! Thanks for an incredible addition to...

Either limit the number of kids who can come or maybe designate a couple of floats for families with kids. Or simply tell parents the kids need to stay on one float. I have kids under the age of 11 and I wouldn’t have let them behave like...
