Nice Sxm — Restaurant in Saint Martin (France)

This is by far the best restaurant in Saint Martin and the only place we visited twice. Nice SXM is operated by a heartwarming husband and wife duo. She cooks the delicious food, and he handles the tables. They are incredibly kind and the service was excellent. Each time we went, we tried one of their specials. Everything is fresh and made to order. We tried veal, pork tenderloin, and duck lasagna - they were all amazing and high quality (and affordable). Although we enjoyed other French meals on the island, in our opinion Nice SXM was even better than Le Cottage and other popular restaurants. Nice SXM overlooks the water and is artfully decorated. This restaurant was our favorite meal of almost two weeks on island! We went with our group (6 adults) and everyone RAVED about their meals, and not one morsel of food was left on any plate. Then the desserts came, and they were equally devoured. If you aren't looking for this restaurant you'd walk right by, DON'T MISS OUT, YOU'LL REGRET IT! Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with unique dishes including absolutely delicious homemade duck lasagna, perfectly grilled tuna and tasty homemade pasta. Waterfront location is excellent aside from the loud bar music next door (which we enjoyed). Entrance is a bit hidden but easy to find thanks to the arrow on a small signboard. Deducted one star for the total lack of any decor inside the restaurant. Even some nice family pictures would be great to reflect the enchanting family behind the restaurant and compliment the warm friendly...
