Pros: We went in late May and had a lunch of frog legs and a âBam Bamâ cocktail. All was quite tasty and the service was excellent. The waitress (didnât catch her name) was personable and energetic and very helpful. We decided to reserve for a special event the next month when we would be returning with our family.
The day before, we visited in-person to confirm our reservation. It was as we set it: they honored the reservation after almost a month!
Cons: The âspecial eventâ dinner was pretty bad. We were among a very few (maybe 10 total) in the restaurant and sat a long time before anyone came to welcome us in any way, offer us a drink order, give us water, anything.
When they finally did the wait staff was nothing short of spastic. Took a couple of drink orders and ran off, then came back and ran off again, then got an appetizer order and came back for the final drink orders. We had to hunt her down to say that we were ready to order main courses.
They were out of mahi mahi, so many of the dishes were not available.
The waitress brought out two appetizer orders of spring rolls that we ordered and for some reason they put cayenne pepper on the plates. As the wind was very high that night, several of us were pepper sprayed in the eyes. As we went diving for non-existent eyewash stations, they took away the apps and returned with them on different plates.
We ordered simple items, chicken club sandwiches and burgers. They took nearly an hour to prepare and being that the place was nearly empty we felt this was a very long time. The club sandwiches were very bland, came with small salads, undressed, and french fries that were greasy and limp, and also cold. One of our party had a cobb salad which was OK, but the ingredients were in large chunks on the plate: a cheese section, a bacon section, etc.
Service was very odd.. lots of leaning over the table with armpits in the wine glasses.. as if the person didnât have any waiting experience. Our party began to pace the floor and walk outside as we waited for the bill. All the while the music system was blasting to non-existent customers.. we turned it down once, but a change in playlist offered an opportunity to crank it up again. Conversation was nearly impossible as was communication with the wait staff.
Finally, the bill came and it was wrong, items charged that were not delivered.
This restaurant will not survive. I donât recommend. As someone else said, âgo to lolos, youâll have better food...

We were blown away. This place has definitely the best fresh food/ dish/ dessert. This restaurant is a French restaurant, which means it will be a 1.30-2hr meal, very typical for a French restaurant that makes every dish from scratch. Even the fries are made from scratch. Some people left a negative review and they are really not justified. Anyone who has traveled to France or French islands should know that French people take their time for dinner. This is also a very new restaurant so getting staff and started is not always easy.

My boyfriend and I went to Gran Case and picked the âKornerâ restaurant and we are so glad that we did!
This venue is so cosy but still with the dine out, fine dining feel. I ordered the burratta salad from the starter menu but had it as a main and it was very good. My other half ordered the Korner burger to which I had a bite of, we both said that this was THE best burger we have both ever had, so much so that we asked the chef to come out so we could express just how good the food was. After our meal we went to relax on the sofa and we were given a free shot each alongside a cocktail that we ordered. The cocktails were made very well and the hospitality provided by the staff was excellent. We both work on yachts, myself as a chef and my other half as a captain, we know what great service and food is and this was it!
The only thing they did was was that they were very busy and so had no lobster left. If this is something you are after I would ring ahead, book and notify them.
