We went to bikini beach which overall views were beautiful. There are locals that literally wake you up when your sleeping asking you to buy dresses and jewelry, give massages or buy weed. It was a little annoying.
We ate at the Bikini Beach grill =1*. We had bacon cheese burger I asked for ketchup and mustard. The waiter gave me a yellow bottle which was Mayo btw not mustard I put it on the burger and couldn’t eat it. If you hate Mayo like I do or don’t eat Mayo products that are sitting in the sun all day be careful. Service was not good at all. Also had the seafood salad with mango dressing. Salad was good but not for what we paid.
I was not aware until getting to the beach that we were not allowed to bring a cooler. We brought one and there was no issues at all I am glad we did as the restaurant charged $6 for a water. We used two chairs that were on the beach and expected to pay for the chair rentals but no one came around to collect money for the rentals. This could have been due to our late arrival to the beach I think we arrived around 12.

Read moreWe I have been coming here since 2015, and it has always been exceptional. We always arrive, park, rent chairs, buy drinks, have lunch then leave. Today we arrived early, parked, grabbed 9 chairs and proceeded to pay for them. Half of our family was able to pay for their chairs. When I tried to pay for the remaining chairs, the employee said they were reserved. No signs, no indication of any reservations. Probably 90% of the chairs were empty. The employee tried to sit the rest of us in the back row when half our family was already in the front so we decided to spread our towels between the chairs and the ocean in front of the rest of our family. The employee came back and tried to kick us off the beach. He said these people (our family) paid for these chairs and didn’t want us in front of them. Total bull. I reminded him that all beaches in SXM are public. He couldn’t kick us off the beach if he wanted. The people who rented the chairs we were in front of were our family. BikiniSXM not only missed out on another $90 chair rentals, drink sales and at least $500 lunch tab. We chose to go to Grand Case for lunch instead. This establishment used to be owned by upstanding independent business owners, now some corporate entity seems to think they can monopolize the beach. Don’t waste your time with the bikini beach. Lots of better places to support at...
Read moreThe spot on the beach can't be beat! The water was absolutely gorgeous and so were the views. However, the service was despicable. Probably the worst I've ever had in my life, because they made us feel so unwanted and stupid. We spent $50 on two chairs front row to the water, and were told we would have food and beverage service and that someone would be by with menus. A half hour later, there were no menus. I tried to get one from one of the staff members who was running around serving other people, but he ignored me. I went up to the bar for a few minutes, but nobody acknowledged me. I asked the waitress, and she threw her hands up and told me she's only a waitress and can't help with beach service, nor point me to the right direction apparently. We decided to access the menu on our phones instead. Trying to order was the same process. I asked the guy who gave us the chairs, he said to check with the kitchen. I asked a waitress in the resteraunt and she pointed to the man I just spoke with (Nate I believe) and said to ask him. We kept seeing other people around us get food service but nobody seemed to want to wait on us. Maybe it was because we had cruise ship towels and were clearly not local, maybe it's because we didn't speak French. Either way, we could tell we weren't welcome, and decided to call our taxi early and spend our money...
