I've visited this restaurant twice, and my experiences have been quite mixed.

On my first visit, I ordered the lamb, and it was exceptional. The meat was perfectly tender, seasoned beautifully, and full of flavor. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy—we were seated at the last available table around 8:20 pm—the service was efficient, and the meal was memorable.

On my second visit, I arrived at 6:45 pm when the restaurant was not very crowded. However, the wait staff informed us right away that there would be a delay with the food. True to their word, our meals took about an hour to arrive. This time, I ordered the duck, which unfortunately was overdone and dry, as evident in the picture I took. It required a lot of sauce and water to finish.

On a positive note, the restaurant offers a kids' menu, which is very convenient. On both visits, the children's meals were served promptly.

Overall, my first visit was a definite 5/5, but the long wait and disappointing duck on the second visit bring my overall rating to an...

Just some minor thing litteral nitpicks the atmosphere is great, but if it gets full at a big and tall, it would be a bit rough to move around. If you're a local, some mixed drinks staples may have a mixology spin(e.g., Ameretto sour), so expect a different look/vibe. But the staff is willing to work around if you tell them you want it straight. Big tables expect a little wait as they want all seated to eat at relatively the same time, which i had no problem with. Other than those minor nitpicks, food was good. Once my group of cooks dont complain, we can recommend it. Check the specials. The explanations alone were...

Mix of ages and nationalities from visitors and some locals. Poor service (apart from the young girl who appeared to be covering her own and others tables). This poor service ranged to having to ask for wine list and bill twice, to very slow delivery of food to us and other tables. There was only two of us and food not only didn't arrive together but mash served separately as part of one dish took nearly 5 minutes to turn up. We have experienced better food quality at other establishments. Wine list on a board was quite good and had...

This is a quality restaurant with very competent staff and an exceptional chef. They have a large menu and many specials to add to that. I had the ravioli with duck breast and blue cheese sauce, which was the most delicious pasta I have EVER had! My husband had the skate wing (sting ray). It was good, but lacked a little flavor for our taste. It was prepared perfectly however. We sat in the covered out door area which was really nice. There are ash trays on every table which is not the usual for this American. I would be happy to go back.

We started our vacation with a dinner at Le Piment and ended with Le Piment! ❤️Excellent food, great staff, fast service.🙌 Food: For those, like me, who cant decide whether to order a duck breast or a duck confit- I recommend trying their duck duo (which includes both)! Their mussels with garlic and aioli are so so good! For kids i recommend ordering either pasta carbonara or pasta bolognese or both. It is a good size portion for 8€ only. We will miss Le Piment food and will definitely be back when come again to St Martin ❤️
