We arrived at around 5:30pm - a time when many restaurants would be in a Sunday night lull in most countries, not so in this instance. Our host Tanasha was warm, helpful and very welcoming. She was very attentative and explained our menu selections enthusiastically - her passion for her Mothers restaurant was evident, which made eating there all the more exciting!

I had the prawns in garlic sauce with rice, mixed veg and salad. To say that this dish was DELICIOUS is a slight understatement - the flavours were heavenly! The portion was a little smaller than I had anticipated, however the flavours worked their magic and left me more than satisfied!

The homemade hot sauce delivered all the heat and flavour I was promised!

VS2 had the grilled snapper, mixed veg, rice and salad. It was very tasty, fresh and the Creole sauce atop the snapper was fragrant and flavourful.

For my first experience in Creole food I was very impressed - the bar has been set high for other restaurants on the island! I will be returning to this lovely little restaurant to sample a few more dishes before I leave the area - I hope to see you there!

I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant and...

They say it's a locals spot, but everyone was clearly a tourist there. It's located along a main strip with other restaurants and bars, like a farmer's market style. It is an open-air, 7 table venue, so not suitable for large groups unless you take the order to go. The owner, Rosemary, was nice and welcoming. I ordered the curried goat for something different. The meat was very tender, but there wasn't much of it. Instead, I got a lot of fat and bones. I also ordered the shrimp creole, which was pretty good, just be prepared for a kick. My kids ordered chicken nuggets and they're just like typical frozen chicken nuggets, nothing too tasty there. The wait time for our food was quite long, given that there weren't very many tables but we weren't in a hurry. Lastly, prices are not converted, so you don't really know how much everything costs unless you are aware of...

Rosemary’s Seafood and Creole Cuisine – Marigot, Saint Martin

If you’re looking for authentic island flavors with warm hospitality, ‘Rosemary’s’ in Marigot is a must-visit. The staff here are incredibly friendly—they even let us store our bags safely while we explored the nearby market, which was a huge help.

We tried a few different dishes: • The ‘goat curry’ was packed with flavor—tender, well-seasoned, and perfectly spiced. • The ‘jerk chicken’ plate was another standout—juicy, smoky, and delicious. • The ‘shrimp plate’, while decent, didn’t quite match up to the others and could probably be skipped.

Overall, the experience was fantastic. This place is highly recommended if you’re craving traditional Creole cuisine and a...
