Bar de L'union — Restaurant in Sarlat-la-Canéda

We got welcomed with a smile and were able to pick our seat. Our goal was a drink and some food but we didn't realise the kitchen closes at 14:00. We sat down at 14:06 and the chef herself came out to the table to take our order with great patience.

We had a burger and bavette, our two kids had crepes. Food was simple and tasty, basically perfect for a quick and filling lunch. The burger had plenty of meat, good amount of sauce and our fries...

Lovely Tabac. It's got a good selection of magazines to buy, lottery, coffee, beer, smokes. Room to sit inside and out. Toilet is very clean and user friendly. De retour d'une journée de balade du côté de Beynac, nous nous sommes heurtés à la difficulté de trouver un endroit pour dîner (tous les établissements affichaient complet ce 13 août 2021). Nous avons enfin pu nous restaurer aux environs de 20 h 15 au Bar de l'union avec un accueil des plus sympathiques du jeune homme aux commandes qui mérite d'être mentionné. Il s'est mis en quatre pour nous dépanner et nous servir des planches de charcuterie et fromage alors même qu'il était déjà très occupé par les clients nombreux venus prendre l'apéro... Merci à lui, car nous pensions sincèrement...
