My family and I had a lovely evening meal here whilst on holiday in Domme. We called in advance to book a table in the evening time and although it was empty when we arrived, it was full when we left. When we arrived, the waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. Her English was excellent and she explained some of the flavours of the dishes to us. We shared a mixed starter between 2 of us which was delicious. The main courses were freshly made with excellent quality ingredients. The duck with lemon grass was exceptional as was the chicken curry. The beef special and chicken satay dishes my family felt were not seasoned enough and a little plain. Everything was beautifully presented. I would say we waited slightly over an hour for our main dishes which we felt was too long, so you need to not be in a rush when you come. In fact there were plenty of other customers in the outside terrace which is not visible from the street. The managers as spoke good English and was helpful in explaining the menu as we aren't familiar with Vietnamese food. Mixed deep fried starters were tasty with well balanced dipping sauces. Read moreI had a lovely lunch at this place! The staff was really lovely and kind and I liked that so many locals were dining here. It felt very homely. I liked my dish, but felt like the flavours could be more pronounced, more Vietnamese style. The flavour was quite mild, I guess to fit the French Asian palette. But still nice enough to enjoy a good lunch.
