Le Flanagan … où l’on réserve pour savourer du foie gras… et où l’on finit avec un burger aux frites brûlées. Réservation à 21h, accueil souriant… jusqu’à ce qu’on nous annonce que les plats locaux sont « indisponible» (traduction : nous fermons la cuisine plus vite). seul des salades, pâtes, ou burger nous sont proposé. Service express : arrivés à 21h30, dehors à 22h pile, assiettes limite retirées avant la dernière bouchée. Les toilettes ? Fermées. Le sol ? Trempé. L’ambiance ? Expédiée. En pleine saison, avec un festival à deux pas et des terrasses pleines partout ailleurs, fermer à 22h15 relève du record. Bravo pour la rapidité… dommage qu’on ne soit pas venus pour un fast-food. Ecoutez, à la lecture de vos commentaires, on a le sentiment que ce genre de situation n’est pas isolé. Il est plus simple d’accuser les clients ou d’inventer un retard que de se remettre en question. Si vous ne pouvez pas accueillir vos clients dans de bonnes conditions, mieux vaut ne pas prendre de réservations. Un repas devrait être un moment agréable, pas une expérience désagréable où l’on ressent que notre présence dérange. Après ce que nous avons vécu, il me semble normal de prévenir vos futurs clients. Client fidèle depuis plus de dix ans, je suis d’autant plus déçu de constater un tel manque de considération et de professionnalisme. Je ne reviendrai pas, et je ne peux malheureusement pas recommander votre établissement.

Had a great meal here during the Salle De Fetes on Wednesday. Live Jazz music in the bar, accompanied by a lovely meal and prompt service. Felt like a valued customer and the ambience was fantastic with the live music and a seat on the terrace alongside the river. Food was cooked perfectly. A memorable experience from my holiday.

Le 5 pour le service est ironique biensur, j'ai rarement vu une tel rapidité, à peine l' apéro commandé et les plats, 3 minutes après, le tout est sur la table. Les plats comme l'apéro. Donc voilà pour le 5. Bon le 2 pour la cuisine, c'est juste pour la présentation ça reste pas vilain. Les pâtes carbonara froides, je le signale, le plat repart et revient victoire, TIEDE..... Les pâtes sont sèches comme préparées avant, on connait tous la tête des pâtes qui ont séjourné au frigo. Bref réchauffée au micro-ondes, Continuons par la salade aux toasts de rocamadour chaud, enfin sur la carte, car dans l' assiette le Rocamadour bah je vous laisse deviner, bah non pas tiède, FROID. Le Burger et le Wrap des filles étaient aux dires des filles , pas mal. Voila en bref très déçu par cette cantine qui à la chance de bénéficier d'un cadre exceptionnel, c'est ce qui attire les touristes comme nous. Juste un 5 qui serait mérité le personnel est acceuillant et souriant, la rien à dire.

We found this place to escape a deluge of heavy rain and had lunch. Even though the rain was heavy we could sit outside in a marquee overlooking the river. The staff were considerate ensuring our table was moved away from rain splatter and went to great lengths to ensure we were comfortable. It seemed to be a place frequented by local people which is always reassuring when frequenting a restaurant. The staff were very attentive, polite and seemed to appreciate our custom. We had the tuna tartar with French fries and the king prawns flambée which was served on a bed of tagliatelle which was an unusual accompliment. This was followed by a double espresso. Diabolical!!! Didn't even deserve 1 star! Disgusting service, we were asked if we wanted water, others recieved free water as in other restaurants, where as we were charged €5 for a bottle. In addition to this an adult meal was given to a child who started to eat the meal, when the child meal came out the error was realised, the staff couldn't see a problem with handing over a half eaten meal, claiming they didn't understand what we were saying even though an other customer interpreted and one member of staff clearly spoke English as she shouted 'oh my god'. The lady in charge laughed when we we told her this and when I asked to speak to the owner we were told he is in hospital, I hope he hurries in his return as with such service he will soon have...

Tourists that were not French like myself were charged 5 euros for rebottled water. The staff gave my meal to another family. That person had started eating it and when the staff realised what had happened, they gave the meal to me and expected me to eat the rest. I sent the meal back then three members of staff came back with it saying they couldn't see a problem and if I wanted another meal I would have to pay for it. The service I received was disgusting.
