Stella Diana — Restaurant in Sartène

I rarely write bad reviews, but this experience was beyond disappointing. Since we hadn’t booked a table, we just wanted an early dinner with our child. we were seated right in front of the pizza chef, who was burping and blasting loud music. To make things worse, they put us next to two trash bins.

For my child, they brought out a tiny 4 cl peach syrup, telling us we should have water as well – absolutely ridiculous. for the pizza: you can get a better one in a random Budapest underpass.

The service? Miserable. The owner is arrogant and condescending, while the waiter literally laughed in our faces just because we don’t speak French.

Overall: a huge pile of disappointment. If you’re looking for good food, decent service, or even the slightest hint of hospitality, do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

very friendly staff, but hard touristic food and prices. the pizza is okay at max. the crust was oiled (who the hell does that), so it was not crispy nor fluffy, but as it was very thin, it was kind of a weird feeling to eat. in my opinion the crust has to be crispy or fluffy, but not that oiled chewy thing. the toppings and the sauce was good though. all in all I would not recommend going here. payed 60€ for 2 pizzas and a burrata salad as pre dish (which came all at the same time), one beer and an...

We loved this place! We happened upon it on the first day and came back for lunch several times! The location is wonderful, two beautiful trees span the entirety of the sitting area, lending it shade and natural serenity. The food was delicious and the hosts were gracious and kind even when I made a mistake in ordering the wrong dish in French. By the way, the classic cocktails (especially the caipirinha) are outstanding, we can't wait to return to our favorite spot...
