Damas Restaurant — Restaurant in Strasbourg

I am pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Surrounded by prefabricated buildings, the restaurant's location looked rather inconspicuous at first glance. However, when I entered the restaurant, the cleanliness and the lovingly designed interior caught my eye. The service was very warm and friendly, you felt like you were dining with friends. The food was amazingly delicious! I can recommend shish tawouk as well as fattoush and tabbouleh to everyone! For little money you get an incredibly high quality dining experience here. Very tasty food! The place is located in this enclave of restaurants in the middle of apartment blocks. It feels like you're entering a different country with all the multi-cultural foods and hustle and bustle.

On the downside, the service was overwhelmed and thus very slow (I don't know, maybe someone did not come in that day, but it seemed way too many tables for one person). And it was a tad expensive for the amount of food, prices I would expect in the center of the city.

Absolutely incredible. I stumbled across this restaurant on a website called The Fork and though the reviews and pictures looks wonderful, so I made plans the same day to go. I was not disappointed. Everything was truly delicious. The flavor, the seasoning, the variety. It was honestly some of the most flavorful and best food I've had. Absolutely outstanding. Thank you for such a delicious meal!!
