Hôi An — Restaurant in Toulon

We dined in as a party of two and ordered the same dish. We were on a tight schedule and asked how long it would take for our food to be served. They told us 15 minutes. HOWEVER, each dish arrived 15 minutes apart as interval. The service was awkward, and the food did not taste authentic.

I think you should have not attribute this issue purely caused because of your colleague’s hearing problem. We were also aware of this as we saw a device on the ear, and finger pointed to the menu items we ordered. Despite this, our order was not handled correctly, and double-checking would have helped from the kitchen. It was an open kitchen and small restaurant. I believe that you would have known that we were a pair of two guests. None of the other guests seemed to have this issue while we were dining. I understand the kitchen was busy, but I mentioned our time constraints when we entered the restaurant. I came to Hôi An with some friends to celebrate my 21st birthday. As a group of 5 without a reservation, the team were super helpful and they made us feel so welcome - the service was excellent. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is delicious; everything we ordered was so fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed it all! It is so reasonably priced as well which makes all of the difference. After recently moving to Toulon I had really missed Asian cuisine, so I am very glad to have found this place - I highly recommend to all, the amazing reviews are well deserved!!...

Hoi An is a hidden gem for anyone who loves fresh, flavorful Vietnamese cuisine. The springtime rolls are some of the best I’ve ever had, light and packed with flavour. The salmon teriyaki is equally delicious and the portion sizes are generous.

Beyond the food, what truly makes this place special are the owners. They are incredibly friendly and kind. Their warmth adds a personal touch that makes you feel very welcome.
