Restaurant Ma'a Tahiti — Restaurant in Toulon

Hey there! 🌺 I just had the most amazing dining experience at "ma'a Tahiti" restaurant. As someone originally from French Polynesia 🇵🇫 (Tahiti), this place made me feel right at home. The food was incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere brought back so many memories.

During my vacation in Toulon, I stepped into the restaurant and immediately felt a wave of nostalgia. The music, the ambiance, and the warm "Ia Orana" greeting from the lovely waitress Trysha gave me goosebumps. It was almost like I was back in Tahiti.

We tried their delectable dishes like "ma'a tinto, Shao men, sashimi, poisson cru chinois, and 2 chocolate foundants" – trust me, you won't be disappointed. Trysha took great care of us throughout the evening, and the two talented ladies in the kitchen were both kind and friendly.

If I were living in Toulon, France, you would find me at Ma'a Tahiti all the time. This place has stolen my heart. Oh, and you have to try their signature "maitai" – a delicious local punch that became my favorite drink.

The Food than i eat (with Friend chose for me One Fish Toast →of "Thon" So Excellent ✓ ! But i suppose my Friend chose let well For her ( i'm not sùr ! But i don't know why " If " ! Probably good too , i did not test ) . . . In the Carte of food : " The Salade Tahiti of → Poisson Cru ". There are , in the restaurant : 1 Screen of Tahiti Picture , from Zil of Pacifique Océan ( Ere Giant of thé World ) , Po cé Vré : "~ plate of Restaurant nor géni man Citar " (behind) ...

Il a fallu s’y reprendre à trois fois pour faire ce commentaire, Nous ne voulions pas que notre avis affecte le merveilleux travail effectué en cuisine lors de notre passage pour le dîner du 6 mai 2023, ni le bon goût des gérants pour rendre la salle authentique et aux belles couleurs de Polynésie.

Les précédents commentaires positifs sur la qualité des plats sont avérés. Ça travaille particulièrement bien en cuisine, c’est généreux, il y a un doux parfum de Tahiti dans chacun des plats. C’est frais, c’est infiniment goûtu. Quel bonheur. Merci mille fois à la brigade cuisine, d’avoir réussi à nous amener au « fenua » (pays) pour la soirée.

En revanche en salle ce soir là, pour l’accueil Polynésien vous repasserez !!! Soit, il s’agit d’un excès de pudeur, soit un problème de gestion du stress ou de fatigue (« fiu ») mais la serveuse fut glaciale avec l’ensemble des clients. Personne n’a été épargné. Le service était sec, mécanique, froid.

Une faute bien impardonnable et qui ne reflète « absolument pas » le grand sourire, la belle générosité, le sens de l’accueil inné et la gentillesse légendaire du peuple polynésien.

Peut-être que le mieux pour cette serveuse serait de rentrer à TAHITI quelques temps, et d’aller s’isoler au fin fond des Gambiers loin des humains qu’elle semblait exécrer ce soir là.

Aita pe’a pe’a (c’est pas grave) nous reviendrons naturellement dans ce bel établissement (mais en ayant pris soin au préalable de nous renseigner sur qui sera au service) et nous maintenons une bonne note parceque ce restaurant le mérite...
