Mam Street Food. — Restaurant in Toulouse

Just visiting Toulouse for a couple days and so happy to have discovered this place! The owner was so lovely, taking my name at the beginning and then continuing to use it throughout. She started in French and when I struggled to understand a few things, easily swapped to English which was lovely!

The food was absolutely amazing, super fresh produce used in their toasted sandwiches, really packed full of fillings and overflowing with cheese!

This place is awesome! My mom and I stumbled in here on a rainy afternoon on our first day in Toulouse. The kitchen was just about closed but the owner said she'd make us a sandwich anyway - the Mamacita - and it was just what we needed on such a soggy afternoon. The owners then chatted with us like we were locals and gave us recommendations for other eats/tourist sites in Toulouse. It was a great way to arrive in the city, and was probably one of the best hot sandwiches...

We had a quick late lunch there before our flight back to London. The first good thing is that they open till 5pm so that we are lucky enough to have some tasty food after 3pm! The owners of the shop are super friendly and hospitable. There’s a cheerful ambience! Most importantly, their food is simple but incredibly delicious! The salads, toasted sandwiches and desserts are all so yummy! Their chocolate brownie is the best one I have ever had! I would recommend them...
