Pizza Mongelli — Restaurant in Toulouse

I travel a lot and I eat a lot of Pizza too. I am not an expert but I've tried so many different pizzas in so many places on earth that I can tell what is a real and good pizza. And, folks, this is the Pizza heaven! Very special place. The best pizza I've ever had. It's the full package. The ingredients they use are really fresh and tasty. The crust is soft, delicate and made of good quality flour. Pizza is cooked in wood oven which makes all the difference. The team is fantastic and very nice with customers. It is real magic to watch them all work synchronized and serve top quality food. They have two pizza sizes and they're adequate. Deserts are divine! The atmosphere is very relaxed and you can feel the true Italian spirit while eating. One last reference to the cleanliness level that is something you can see they care about (and I value in a restaurant). I am a regular customer, tried almost all menu, and never had a bad experience with them. It's top quality! Guaranteed! I recommend this place to every one....

I really enjoy eating pizza. It is my favorite meal. I take my pizzas very seriously (quality of ingredients, sauce, flop, taste, appearance). Work colleagues recommended Pizza Mongelli in Tournefeuille. I was told Pizza Mongelli won many awards. I tried it. In my view, this is the best pizza that I have ever eaten and I have tasted pizzas across Europe, America, Africa and Australia. Pizza Mongelli quickly became a highlight of my week. My two favorites are the Jambon (tomato base, mozzarella, white ham and olive oil) and the Peppino (Parma ham and basil). Two absolutely superb pizzas. Also the Pizza Mongelli crew makes you feel like you are part of a family. I have recently left the Toulouse area, and Pizza Mongelli is what I miss most. I am missing Pizza Mongelli so much I wrote this...

Ce soir grosse déception, j'ai l'habitude de cette pizzeria que j'affectionnait, que je recommandait... Il y a qu'à regarder mes commentaires sur les 5 dernières années où je me suis installée à Tournefeuille. Ce soir, la serveuse commande, ok déjà un humour un peu spécial... Bref on commande nos pizzas et une bouteille de vin blanc, 5 minutes plus tard les pizzas s'enchaînent, nous attendions notre vin blanc pour trinquer ! Mais Mademoiselle l'avais oublié (ça arrive, mais pas d'oublie car les 3 tables qui nous entouraient c'était la même chose) .. Pizza au saumon qui d'habitude avait de la crème fraîche à l'aneth, là rien, de l'emmental et du saumon... Ma 4 fromages, ma préférée, sèche sans crème fraîche ou vraiment un soupson, 5cm de croûte, pâte pas cuite, fromage en très petite quantité... Je tiens à dire que la pizza au saumon à été refaite avec cette fois ci de la crème fraîche, mais franchement aucun rapport de goût avec l'ancienne, ni la mienne aux 4 fromages... Des tables ont étés oubliés pour les commandes, toujours la même serveuse... Bref s'agrandir c'est bien mais je préférais mille fois notre petite pizzeria familiale ou tout était au top, la c'est de la réduction et une moindre qualité sur les ingrédients sur les pizzas pourtant les prix ont suivis l'inflation... Le responsable s'est aperçu de ma déception, oui car j'aimais venir ici... Mais pour ma part je pense que ça sera fini. Je suis réellement...
