La Bigouden — Restaurant in Tours

Me and my wife enjoyed a delicious dinner at La Bigouden. We were trying to find somewhere authentic amongst the many bars and restaurants in the area, many of which didn’t look too inspiring. We finally found La Bigouden and we’re very happy with our choice!

The crepes were delicious and arrived very swiftly. They brought back memories of many trips to France when I was a child. We also order a simple salade verte which was the ideal accompaniment with a touch of vinaigrette.

Overall the food was delicious and great value. Service was good even though they were very busy at the time. The only thing we could fault was that our table was a little small and close to other tables, but this is only a very minor criticism.

Amazing food and service. We have had crepes 4 places including Paris and this is the best one so far. The crepe with honey walnut and goat cheese was amazing!! To top that the service was just awesome.. our kids wanted to have Italian food across the street. We requested if we can bring pizza over - not only the owner allowed us outside food, she walked up to the other restaurant and ensured this is ok with them. Just so polite and courteous. Made the most of the last few warm evenings & ate outside this restaurant. Lovely food, especially the banoffee crepe we shared for dessert ! We both had galettes with a salad for mains.
