Restaurant Le Petit Refuge — Restaurant in Vannes

We returned to this place again today, having had a great coffee yesterday. Today, we had just had an awful lunch somewhere else in Vannes and returned to this little haven o sample their coffee and a pudding. We wish we had gone here for lunch. The owners remembered us immediately from yesterday and remembered what we had ordered then. This place is special. The love that the owner and his staff have for their food and their customers is as uplifting as the food is. The prices are fair for what is obviously selected from curated, local producers who also have passion for what they produce. If all restaurants were like this one, we would be well nourished, both in body and soul. Go out of your way to find this little restaurant in the heart of old Vannes. I hope we can return...

Une excellente cuisine à prix modéré ! Je suis venue avec une copine assez difficile avec la nourriture (les cuissons, le sel, les sauces, le sucre.... elle est très critique) et elle a été conquise. Pour ma part j'ai pris une quiche et bien que ça paraisse "simple" je me régale juste avec ça, elles sont délicieuses. Tout était bon, de l'entrée au dessert. Le service est aux petits oignons, les 2 filles présentes ce jour sont aux petits soins des clients, le service est absolument impeccable. Je recommande vivement si vous passez sur Vannes et que vous rechercher une cuisine "simple" et raffinée (oui les 2 sont absolument possibles) à prix modéré. Plein de produits locaux à la carte,...
