Perfect eatery to end our Versailles adventure. Warm welcome, fantastic service. Being British we don't expect all the extras; gazpacho with croutons to start us off, plus a basket of bread....all complimentary and much enjoyed! Main course super generous; mine would not be classed as a salad anywhere else...hot camembert, Italian ham, wedges and salad- delicious. Hubby had steak and frites; again, delicious. Rounded off with what we had thought were coffees with an individual mini dessert. Except we were in for a surprise when we each ended up with 6 mini puds 🤣 (alongside said coffee). Happy days! Would highly recommend; did not feel touristy, lots of French folk dining. But menu in English so minimal issue with translation. Apart from dessert!! Fantastic value, well worth a visit. Thank...

Food was good but not fantastic. I had a great time here though. The waiter was classic French and frustration with the language barrier at other tables showed LOL. By the time he got to us we knew exactly what we wanted, he was happy and somewhat relieved but knew we realized his frustration. He was a good guy…..I really love the French :).

I had the beef entrecôte. Was a large piece I had cooked to medium. I was satisfied. Comes with French fries and béarnaise sauce. Was a large piece of meat.

I posted the menu so you can prepare.

Tip. Know what you want...

I rarely write bad reviews as I don't really find it worth spending my time on things I don't appreciate, but I had a particularly bad time in this restaurant. Both of our servers were a bit rude and quite clumpsy, and usually I don't mind that but when they spill out drinks without even apologizing our really helping clean the situation up, I don't that I'm treated particularly well. The food was really quite bad especially for the price, the desserts were ok. Highly recommend that you DONT go here, at least in...

Stopped by in the morning to reserve a table since we couldn't online. The barkeep didn't speak much English but said he'd look for us at 12. They gave us free soup (tasted like gazpacho), we had steak and pasta with pesto sauce, a salad with apples, a pasta, and salmon with ratatouille. The steak was the table favorite - loved the sauce! Portions were fairly small...at most places we 4 shared 3 meals. Here, we ate 4. The waiter didn't speak English.
