We spent 8 days in this hotel in the middle of october with my husband and I honestly don't have a clue how somebody can leave 5 stars to it, probably if these guests stayed for 1 night it is ok, but not for somebody who stayed for longer. The hotel gives nice impression at first, but the more of their service you encounter the worse this impression gets, because obviously this hotel's staff has little idea what the hospitality is.

Bizarre things start to happen right after the first day of room service: you can find out, that they do not refill teabags/sugar sachets in the room bar, almost empty from the beginning bottles of shampoo and bodywash mounted on the shower wall stay like this for the next 8 days. They provide guests with little bottles of shampoo and body lotion, but no bodywash, and if you used your shampoo there is no certainity that the staff refills it later. In the evening after long day of browsing Paris you can return to the hotel and find your belongings (clothes, personal items) throwed on the floor. At morning you go to have your 17 euro breakfast, and something is always cold that should be hot (like scrambled eggs/bacon), and something else is absent (like utensils on all the vacant tables, or ham, or eggs, or bacon in the buffet). And selection itself is small. Again, the staff there is lazy af: go find a fork/spoon yourself if you want to eat your breakfast.

On the last day of your stay you can find out that your key isn't working anymore because the receptionist forgot to prolong your reservation that you booked in advance a month ago and even discussed that on your first day there. In the middle of your stay you can get a shout in the back in Franch when entering the hotel and crossing the lobby because the receptionist didn't recognize you.

The hotel has lovely wall decor and okayish furniture, but the state of wall sockets is awful, their location is inconvinient for charging, and no USB sockets whatsoever.

Again about the room service: I took a napkin from the room bar to correct my makeup in the morning and left it (all crumpled and with marks of maskara) on the table. In evening I found it on its place at the bar again! They just smoothered it a little bit and placed back under a tea mug! Guys, are you THAT short on napkins there?..

On a bright side: location is good to visit Palace...

Review only for breakfast service as it is what we needed today. 37 euros for 2 people for an unlimited breakfast buffet, which was basically our brunch before heading for a long day at the Versailles castle, gardens, and Trianon domain. They have a large variety of savory and sweet options. They also serve soy milk and not just normal milk, which was a great option for my lactose intolerant self. The scrambled eggs and sausages were the best, in my opinion. There were also beans, bacon, cakes, pancakes, crêpes, muffins, cereal, muesli and toppings, honey, jam, and much more. There are great options for cold and warm drinks as well. As someone who worked for a while at a hotel's breakfast service in Barbizon, this hotel's breakfast service is miles ahead of what my own management offers. I love the polite and approachable interaction I had with their staff. The waiter at the time for breakfast was also very professional. Great value for your money, in my opinion. I prefer this quality over going to a Starbucks or brasserie. We didn't need to get lunch from how filling and delicious it was. Can't speak for their room service or quality as we did not have a room reservation. We just passed by for breakfast. Come by at a reasonable time, don't be surprised and don't be an angry customer if you aren't accepted because, like in a lot of hotels, preparations are done depending on the number of rooms occupied and thus will have limited prep for breakfast. We were lucky to have come around 9:30-ish and were welcomed with open arms....

A lovely hotel located just round the corner from The Palace of Versailles!

Service was wonderful the receptionists were very helpful and stored our luggage in the morning and after checkout.

The rooms were very clean, tidy and the beds were comfortable, along with decent quality pillows. Carpets are due to be refurbished in the next year or so. Television was modern and had a full series of French and English channels.

Room could have done with a slightly better air conditioning as they used the dreaded 'central air' meaning it's either on or off...no adjustment. That is becoming more common now and perhaps helps the environment so not so bad. I just opened a window and was quite happy.

Bathroom was immaculate and well stocked with the essentials. Not sure why other people were complaining our bathroom was modern with chrome finishing and a large shower bath and glass screen?! Perhaps they are renovating some rooms.

Could do with having a restaurant for dinner, but the receptionist offered us a variety of alternatives including some small snack dinners for room service, which were affordable. She told us about local restaurant options and even the takeaways nearby that could deliver! She went above and beyond!

Wi-Fi was very good with decent speeds, no interruptions or issues.

Very happy would stay again, for the friendly service, affordability and exectional location.

Thanks again to all the staff, you made our stay pleasant...
