Golden Bengal, located near Versailles, offers a delightful experience for those craving authentic Indian cuisine. During our visit, we ordered naan, biryani, seekh kababs and lamb curry, and each dish left a memorable impression.
The seekh kabab was warm, soft, and perfectly textured, serving as an excellent accompaniment to the meal. The garlic naan had the right balance of fluffiness and chewiness, making it a great start to our dining experience.
The biryani was a highlight of the meal. It was flavorful and aromatic, with the rice cooked to perfection and the spices well-blended, creating a dish that was both rich and satisfying. The portion size was generous, and the mix of ingredients ensured a burst of flavor in every bite.
The lamb curry was another standout. The lamb was tender and succulent, cooked just right to absorb the rich and spicy curry. The sauce was robust and had a depth of flavor that spoke of traditional cooking techniques and quality ingredients.
Overall, Golden Bengal excels in delivering a satisfying and authentic Indian dining experience. The quality of food and the attention to detail in each dish make it a restaurant worth visiting if you're...

Daughter ordered paneer €8 for a main, which arrived with only two small sugar cube size paneer cubes . My wife mentioned it to the waiter , he went on to tell us (apparently) in France all indian restaurants only give two pieces , that’s the rules - that comment was unbelievable.
see photo, that was pilau rice, it was more rice pudding and felt like it had just been microwaved.
Keep well away from this resturant if your from England and like nice curries, if your French then you won’t know the difference so carry on...

Read moreI've eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants and i was dissapointed by the meal here. Serving sizes were smaller than i expected to receive, ordered butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and did not come with much chicken in both (5 pieces in one of them). Sauce was very basic in the tikka masala, more watered down to almost an Italian tomato sauce, did not have strong Indian spice flavour. Ordered garlic narn and paneer narn, garlic was not tasty or pungent like it should be, the paneer narn was ok. All in all we were dissapointed in our meal and probably...
