❌ Adjara Palace Restaurant, Batumi – A Clear Example of No Hospitality
Visit Time: Around 18:00 in the evening. The restaurant was almost empty.
First Impression: From the moment I entered, I felt unexpected aggression from the staff. No greeting, no smile—just cold attitude.
Strange Treatment: I was immediately sent upstairs, even though the main hall was empty. Upstairs, there were no other guests at all.
Table Confusion: I chose a table by the window. Suddenly, someone behind me said, “Reserved.” But there was no sign or label on the table. I asked about other tables—again, “No, that one’s reserved too.” Everything was empty, and still no “Reserved” signs anywhere.
Decision: I left right away. I don’t recommend this place, at least not during this tourist season.
Advice to Visitors: Choose restaurants and cafés where you feel welcome, where staff are happy to see you, and where hospitality is real—not...
Read moreI have not ever stayed in this hotel but twice I had a chance to dine in its restaurant with my family. And I am 100% sure that is one of the best restaurants in Batumi. Waiters are helpful and friendly, manager welcomes the visitors and offers them wine, the dishes are great. Especially I would like to remark khinkali. Ajarian khachapuri is great too though it differs a little from the ones offered in other restaurants. Georgian wines are great there as well. So after having a dinner there once we have decided to go there once again the very next day. And what is the biggest surprise the prices are fair and the portions are big. Compared to many popular restaurants around, this one has the highest price/quality ratio. I recommend this restaurant for a lunch or dinner no matter do you stay in Ajara palace...
