We popped in after the cafe across the street rejected us from service saying they’re “water was temporarily shut off” and were greeted by the sweetest barista ever. I barreled through the door and only moments after uttering, in my lackadaisical fashion, “one iced matcha latte” had she refused my request with the most profound look of sympathy. It left me in a state of peril but I reeled my heart in faster than she could reach for the espresso and began working on our Americano. I wanted a beer as well and debated at the glass fridge for a minute before selecting a dark one with some Russian letters I couldn’t pronounce. As I looked for the appropriate driver update for my laptop I sipped on my beer and watched her close up shop....

Заказал итальянскую шаурму и панини карбонара. Всё, что касается упаковки и сервиса — на хорошем уровне. Доставка быстрая, еда приехала тёплой. Блюда полностью соответствуют фотографиям.

Шаурма: по грузинским меркам — небольшая, но плотная, сытная и набита «до краёв». Основной ингредиент — курица, и её действительно много. В составе также капуста, огурец, помидоры. Всё свежее, аккуратно завернуто, не пересушено. Но, к сожалению, вкус подводит: вместо баланса ощущается только нейтральная горечь — возможно, от капусты. В остальном вкусовая палитра практически отсутствует.

Панини карбонара: приготовлен на хорошем хлебе, который слегка отсырел в пути, но это не критично. Внутри свежие помидоры, зелень, и большое количество ветчины или бекона. Начинка качественная и обильная. Но вкуса снова не хватает — ощущается в основном влажный хлеб с соусом, без характерного аромата и выраженности.

Возможно, ожидания были завышены, или сегодня просто не тот день, но общее впечатление — еда аккуратная, с хорошими ингредиентами, но безвкусная и не запоминающаяся.

Ordered the Italian shawarma and carbonara panini. Packaging and service were on point. Delivery was fast, and the food arrived warm. Everything matched the photos exactly.

Shawarma: relatively small by Georgian standards, but dense, filling, and tightly packed. Chicken is the main ingredient — and there’s plenty of it. Also includes cabbage, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Everything was fresh and nicely wrapped, not dry. Unfortunately, the flavor fell short — the only dominant note was a neutral bitterness, possibly from the cabbage. Otherwise, the taste was very flat.

Carbonara panini: made with good bread, slightly soggy from transport, but that’s minor. Inside: fresh tomatoes, greens, and a generous portion of ham or bacon. The ingredients were solid, but again, the taste lacked depth — mostly soft bread with sauce, and no real flavor identity.
