During our recent trip to Georgia, we all agreed that Freeduchio was one of the best restaurants of the entire trip, and in Batumi, it was the best restaurant. We visited Freeduchio on October 3 and tasted many delicious dishes, especially the tender stewed eggs and juicy burgers, which left a deep impression on us.
However, after enjoying the delicious food, due to our negligence, we left a small bag in the restaurant. It was not until the next day after we returned to China that we realized that the bag was missing. The bag contained not only important items such as multiple credit cards and debit cards, but also more than 600 US dollars in cash. In a panic, we immediately contacted Freeduchio.
Although this matter involved cross-border logistics and cross-border remittances, which was not easy to handle. Nelly, the founder and owner of Freeduchio, and the restaurant manager and other staff always patiently and actively provided us with assistance. They helped us contact DHL for logistics matters and contacted Western Union (WU) for remittance issues. It is because of their patience, meticulousness and high sense of responsibility that we feel warm and touched.
With everyone's joint efforts, our little bag has finally set foot on the road back to China. For this, we once again express our sincere gratitude to all the staff of Freeduchio, especially Nelly and the manager! Freeduchio not only has excellent dishes, but also impeccable service, which is...
Read moreI loved the food here! It was tasty and nutritious. There were lots of vegetarian (and a few vegan) options, as well as some dishes for fish-lovers. Unfortunately, they didn’t have ANYTHING to drink. Like, literally, two flavors of milkshake or smoothie or something, but all other ~20 options on the menu no. So we just asked for still water. The service was very slow. We were waiting for 40 minutes to get our food (which is usually not a bad sign, because it means that people are actually cooking, not just heating up your order). But we were starving and we didn’t appreciate such a long wait. Another negative thing was that we were sitting outside at a small table and there was almost no shade. You guys should really invest in some umbrellas or stuff that can create shade because waiting for 40 minutes and eating for another 20 may cost you a heatstroke. And, finally, the bathroom. It was very dirty. If I’m being honest I haven’t seen a dirty toilet like that in cafes for...
Read moreWe’ve been waiting here for 15 minutes and haven’t received service as yet. The waiter saw us sitting here and just walked past.
Is this place self service?
Edit: after I posted this review; she showed up. 20 mins of waiting. I guess the waiter in the printed pants didn’t inform the person who takes orders that we were waiting outside?
Edit2: the food was simply great. The best breakfast I’ve had in Georgia. Hands down the best falafel ever. Phone died so couldn’t take pictures of the food. Although I had to get up again in the middle of my food and go in to order bread
The place is bigger than you expect and seems from the outside. The inside has a great vibe on the inside. If some of that can be extended to the outside by adding some music outside and a service bell or button is added to call for service; I’d rate this place a 5 star. Will be looking forward to seeing the changes the next time I...
