If we put animal welfare aside, it is an interesting, authentic old school soviet big room full of fish tanks to visit. Also feels very cooling and calming to be there, when it's sweltering hot outside. There are quite a few types of beautiful fish.

However, thinking about animal welfare, the fish themselves probably aren't having a great time. Each species is kept in a separate tank, and there isn't much space or many plants/rocks for them to swim around. When (unavoidably) this place one day gets renovated, it would be good to go for a more 'holistic' approach and let different species live next to each others in spacious conditions, more or less recreating their actual natural habitat, instead of keeping each species in its own separate...
