We traveled through a muddy roads to arrive here, hoping to have meals by the river. Just then, the guests by the river got up and left. So I asked the restaurant owner if we could change seats. But the owner first asked the opinions of the guests who came with us at the same time. They didn't make any requests but then accepted the owner's suggestion. We were very embarrassed. However, since we had already ordered the food and didn't want to leave, to be politeness,we still finished eating. To be honest,The dishes were kind of distinctive. But to be honest, if you are looking for a good dining environment, it would be better to go to the next restaurant. This experience didn't affect our overall experience for the day. I respect the owner's choice, but this way of handling things made the guests feel a bit awkward. I hope they can handle it better in the future. We had the good fortune of finding Adacafe on our recent trip to the ancient capital of Georgia, Mtskheta! It is right off the main tourist street down by the water, with a large garden and deck built onto the river banks.
Everything at Adacafe is about quality and atmosphere. We were welcomed by the owner, and it is clear that they value service, kindness, amazing food and cleanliness in equal measures. We followed the other patron’s lead and opted for the Turkish Breakfast which comfortably serves two (They were still serving it at 14.00 in the afternoon). Freshly baked simit and pide, menemen, 2 kinds of cheese, olives, served with helpings of olive oil, strawberry jam, honey and savoury sauces, together with a large samowar of tea. We also recommend the homemade lemonade, which was sipped by everyone around us and tastes delicious, topped off with Turkish Coffee (Mehmet Effendi, of course, with Turkish delights)!
We will...
Read moreThis is one of the best cafe experiences I've had in Mtskheta, and even in Tbilisi, it's definitely the best. Right by the Mtkvari River, this café has a great view and a nice atmosphere, perfect for relaxing or having deep conversations.
And what about the food? It was absolutely delicious! All the food was fresh, looked really nice and tasted delicious. It's clear that they care about quality.
But what made the visit really special was the service. A big thanks to the manager, Denvi (sorry, dear, if I've spelled your name wrong). She was professional but also friendly and treated us like a person, not just another customer. She took the time to understand what we wanted, made thoughtful recommendations, and created a welcoming atmosphere.
If you're in Mtskheta and want a place that feels both elevated and welcoming, this is the place for you. I highly recommend it. Thank you for...
