Kikliko — Restaurant in Tbilisi

Unfortunately, our first experience visiting this place was ruined by extremely poor service.

1. We had a booking for 11.30. At the time we arrived, the table was busy and not prepared.

2. Many menu positions were unavailable. This place is said to be serving breakfast, but some breakfast options (such as lemonades and some dishes with eggs) were out.

3. There was a problem with the quality of service:

a waitress spilled a coffee on one of us (later on, she almost spilled a coffee the second time);

guests, who arrived later than us, were given their dishes earlier;

the timing of service was off: we ordered the same dish for two of our friends, but the first dish was brought to us 15 minutes earlier than the same dish for the other friend.

Overall, we would not recommend visiting this place. The food is just OK (or rather mid), but everything else...

I really don’t understand the hype about this place. It does look very cute, but the looks are deceiving. I waited for my cottage cheese pancakes 40 min to learn that they forgot about them. “Don’t worry 1 min! “Well maybe 2 minutes “ “you want to cancel? But we’re already making them!” When I got them, they turned out to be the worst I ever tried. Personal offense really. Tasteless, plain… The other dishes my friends ordered were also not so good, (pumpkin in a salad frozen, greens are bitter) and it took ages for them to cook it. And later they dare ask how did I like my food and maybe tip. For what guys?! I’m usually very patient and forgiving since I worked in service as well once, but some things are just unacceptable. Horrible service, horrible food. I’m never going there again, there are so many nice places for...

Rewriting my review to share that we won't be coming back :( we've come several more times and have never waited a reasonable time, usually well over an hour for dishes like eggs or pancakes, and often dishes are ready 30-45 minutes apart so one or two people sit hungry whole the rest eat before their food gets cold. We've mentioned this and the staff just doesn't care.

Unfortunately the incredibly long wait times and inconsistencies have overshadowed the cuteness of the restaurant and the taste of food.

A perfect little neighborhood breakfast place :) Cosy atmosphere with relaxed music and a small patio with outdoor seating. The staff is responsive and kind.

We love to get the eggs with oyster mushrooms, kiklikos (savory french toast), and of course chocolate pancakes with...
