The LITTLE - specialty coffee house — Restaurant in Tbilisi

Pros: coffee is great. Americans, cappacino, service is friendly. Nice simple design.

Cons: as somebody who has set up businesses in foreign countries and has many friends who have also done so, one of the most essential matters is respecting your host country. This is a Russian-speaking coffee shop with English language menus. I did not see a single Georgian word anywhere in the shop. No Georgian greeting when entering. This I don't like.

I didn't ask where the workers/owners are from and I really don't care so long as they can make a good cup of coffee. :-)

However, they're refugees living in Georgia (either Ukrainian refugees from the war or Russians/Belarusians fleeing horrible countries with dictatorships). Either way, they should respect their host country and have an English/Georgian menu, along with the capacity to greet customers with a very easy to memorize 'gamarjobot'. A simple sign of respect to your host country goes a long way. Until that changes, I will not be returning and neither will my European and American colleagues...

Pretty garden and cosy benches in the shade. A great place to have a cup of coffee. But why only one star? This place is poisoned by the moody barista in this place. Unfriendliness, strained communication. No, it is not rudeness, but after communication with the barista leaves an extremely unpleasant feeling, as if you have just been humiliated. Despicable look and surly girl with short hair makes you avoid this place when she is there. Thank goodness there are other coffee shops nearby with friendly staff where you can grab a delicious coffee and enjoy this wonderful garden in the shade without the judgmental stares and toxic dialogues from the lady working...
