Chops By The River - Restaurant & Grill — Restaurant in Tbilisi

Quite interesting place if to talk about location. There is a house and some terraces outside. During hot summer you can escape there from the heat. This restaurant has a very interesting Buffet-like option - pay a fixed price and eat how much you wish. The difference is - you will be fully served by the staff. Bad things are in the level of service, which, unfortunately, is quite low. Each member of staff who served our table have had forgotten all we asked and came back several times to ask again. Finally they forgot many thing anyway. The funniest thing was that the restaurant was quite empty. The supervisor - a very friendly woman, tried to solve the mistakes of her unprofessional colleagues, but she cannot manage it anyway. It seems, she was the only one who at least understood how to serve. One more unpleasant thing I wish to mention is strange water pool inside the main house. When I went to the toilet, I almost fell down in water, because there were too dark, no railing and even no warning sign. On the end I have stated, that my trousers was stuck to the chair - it was pine resin. So, if you wish to go to the party after this restaurant, please take spare...

Visited the restaurant in June. The restaurant itself is very nice, even though there is no river near it despite the name:)) Nice place to enjoy evening with family. There was live music in the evening (a bit too loud). Dishes were good and we didn't wait very long for them to prepare but waiters were a bit confused of their job. We also wanted to order the dessert as well but the waiter told us that for preparing pancakes they would need at least 40 min. So we just drank the coffee. But the management itself (or whoever is managing their social networks and has communication with potential guests) is rude, disrespectful, arrogant, unprofessional and has nothing to do with the good, customer...

A perfect place off beaten routes. A converted villa of a famous Georgian celebrity in a postcard-perfect mountain district of the capital city.
