Delhi Grill — Restaurant in Böblingen

I recently ordered from this restaurant, and the delivery experience was nothing short of a nightmare. When the delivery guy first called, he was already angry and rude, complaining that he couldn't see my name on the door. I told him I was coming downstairs to meet him, but when I couldn't find him, things took a turn for the worse.

When I called him back, he started shouting and even threatened to leave my food in the street! I was shocked by how unprofessional and aggressive he was. I contacted the restaurant, hoping they could help, but instead, they made excuses, saying the driver had "personal problems." While I tried to be understanding, the situation only got worse. The woman on the phone blamed me, claiming I gave the wrong address, and then abruptly hung up on me!

Afterward, I had to stay on the phone with the delivery guy for 11 minutes to explain the address clearly. He finally arrived, but instead of an apology, I got more complaints. He claimed he had been waiting for an hour. The total time from his first call to delivery was 21 minutes.

This entire experience was beyond frustrating and completely unprofessional. I will never order from this restaurant again. If you value good service, I strongly advise...

My wife and I had some appointments in Böblingen over the lunch period so we decided to dine in at the Delhi Grill right when it opened. I had previously rated this place in 2020 during COVID-19. At the time, my wife and I used Lieferando for the first time and chose this place. I gave it a four then, but this time, it definitely deserves a five. While there are  just a few tables, we had the place to ourselves. The owner and his wife do a great job at cooking the meals and attending to the customers. We ordered a couple of papadums to start with. As we love taking food home, we ordered three mains for the two of us. My wife ordered the chicken Vindaloo while I got the chicken Tikka Masala. We both asked for them to be more spicy and they definitely were. We also shared a Palak Paneer. All three were delicious...and we did have some to take home. I enjoyed seeing how hard the two worked in the kitchen making our meals and many take out orders. Their deliverer was busy the entire time we ate our lunch. That's how good...

Ok so, this is an underrated restaurant! We tried ordering online and the food was so delicious that we ended up coming to eat-in the very next night.

The restaurant is very cute and cozy. But what's more worth mentioning is the character of the owners. They are very sweet, soft-spoken, kind and relaxed.
